The former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, joined the conversation about the Igbo that produced the president in 2023.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that Fani-Kayode said Tuesday that the north would never support the idea of the Igbo Presidency in 2023. He added that the Igbo do not need a presidency at this time but emancipation.
Fani-Kayode, on his Twitter page, wrote: “If you think the north will support an Igbo presidency in 2023, then you still don’t understand the injustice that Nigeria represents.
“The north will NEVER support an Igbo presidency, and that is the tragedy of Nigeria. The whole south needs EMANCIPATION and not the Presidency.”
Meanwhile, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said that the Igbo Presidency will not end the ongoing agitation of Biafra.
Kanu said that those who claimed for Igbo’s presidency in 2023 were wasting their time.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The IPOB leader further stated that: “The presidency of Igbo is a dream, it is like the second bridge of Niger and the cleaning of Ogoni,” therefore, it will not stop the agitation of Biafra.
