46-year-old man in court for allegedly defiling 11-year-old girl

On Friday, a court of first instance in Kano ordered the preventive detention of the 46-year-old driver, Muhammad Sani, at Kano correctional facilities for allegedly desecrating an 11-year-old girl.

Latest nigeria newspaper reports that the defendant, who lives in Kurna Asabe Quarters, Kano, faces a charge of rape, which contravenes Section 283 of the Criminal Code.

Chief magistrate Muhammad Jibril, who ordered the preventive detention of the accused, postponed the case until January 13, 2020 to mention it.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Pogu Lale had told the court that the victim’s mother (hidden name) of Gayawa Quarters, Kano, reported the case to the Zango Police Division, Kano, on October 29.

Latest nigeria newspaper reports that She said that on October 25, at 5:00 p.m., the defendant cheated and attracted the applicant’s 11-year-old daughter to a store located in Gayawa Quarters and had illegal sex with her. However, the defendant denied having committed the crime against him.
