There was pandemonium on Sunday night until early Monday morning at Plateau State University, Bokkos, when the alleged pastors stormed the school premises and raped a 300-grade student, leaving her unconscious.
GISTOK gathered that security operatives, who came for rescue, also shot and killed a-100 level student, who colleagues said was fired while running in the ensuing melee.
The aforementioned incident resulted in a violent protest on Monday morning as students barricaded major entrances to the institution and barred staff from gaining entrance into the school.
DAILYPOST gathered reliably from a student, who pleaded anonymity, “I don’t stay on the campus but I live very close to the school. It was around 10pm or 11pm that the thing happened and I got a call that some unknown people came and raped a student in the hostel and left her unconscious.
“Those security attached to the school went to rescue the girl and on getting there, they asked people to lie down but the guy they killed did not lie down, he was fired as he was running and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. “The girl that was raped is a 300 level student of Economics department, the one that was killed was in 100 level, Geography.
The student further explained that, “This situation is very sad, we have been talking about the security of students in the school but no effort has been made. “These people just keep roaming the school premises with cows; distracting us and dirtying the environment,” he lamented.
“Who is really safe now?” He asked.
