Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, of the state of Ondo, on Wednesday dissolved the Task Force on the Farmers Registry with immediate effect.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that Olusegun Ajiboye, his chief press secretary, made the announcement in a statement in Akure.
The government ordered the members of the dissolved Task Force to hand over government property in their possession to the state Commissioner of Agriculture.
The statement cited the governor expressing his appreciation for his service to the state. In due course a new Task Force will be constituted,” he said.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that Akeredolu, last Friday, returned to the state after spending five weeks outside of Ondo. There were rumors about his health status after his absence from the state after his annual license expired on October 4, 2019.
