APC suspends member for disrespecting Atiku

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area of ​​the local government of Birnin Kebbi of Kebbi, has suspended an aspiring president of the council, Shafiu Abubakar, for disrespecting Governor Atiku Bagudu.

NAN reports that Alhaji Umaru Bakatara, president of the Zero room in Birnin Kebbi, revealed this Sunday at a press conference in Birnin Kebbi.

“This is to inform you that after Shafiu Abubakar’s unrespectful and disrespectful statements about the APC Kebbi state government on Saturday through the Vision FM Radio interview.

Therefore, the party suspended him from the party, and we wish to inform you that the APC Zauro neighborhood has become disassociated and does not endorse its actions in any way.

“The neighborhood leadership wishes to register its unwavering support and loyalty to the constituted authorities of the Kebbi state government under the leadership of Governor Abubakar Bagudu.” Abubakar told NAN that his suspension was void.

He said that Zauro’s party executives do not have jurisdiction under the law to suspend him for merely expressing his views as enshrined in the constitution.

The suspension has no basis, is null and void. They do not have the power of our great party, APC to suspend me, and the constitution of Nigeria gave me the freedom of expression, which used to express my feelings on issues related to my state, “he said.
