Atiku: Details of President Buhari’s meeting with APC governors

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday in Abuja, said that the intense schedule of the inaugural meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday caught his attention for many hours, preventing him from following the court ruling that validated his victory in the urns

“By some coincidence, this ruling occurred the same day we had the first meeting of the Federal Executive Council that lasted seven hours. I was very busy that day.

“And we focused on the budget for 2020. So while he was there in court for nine hours of trial, we were here for seven hours,” he said.

President Buhari said the victory in the court was collective as it affects all members of the party, governors and Nigerians, and noted that a contrary ruling would also have affected all members of the party.

The president told the leaders and governors of the APC party that it was necessary to invest more in positioning the party for the future.

“We really need to institutionalize the party so that when we leave, the party continues to lead,” he said. The president said he joined the army “immediately” after high school and the reality of the discipline carried through his years of service in the country, including fighting on the war front.

In his comments, APC President Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said the ruling was delivered “eloquently and analytically” to clarify all doubts about the veracity of the president’s school credentials, assuring him of the party’s loyalty and support.

“We never had any doubt. We were convinced of our victory, “he said.” It is of particular interest that the only asset that the President has invested and continues to invest is his integrity. And we saw some people trying to throw mud at that integrity. As for personal integrity, the opposition party does not have in its rank any man or woman who has its integrity. ”
