Benue election: Gov. Ortom sends message to Gabriel Suswam over his victory at Appeal Court

The Governor of the Benue state Samuel Ortom congratulated Senator Gabriel Suswam on Friday, a senator representing the Senator district of northeast Benue for his victory in the court of appeal.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that Ortom also congratulated the Honorable Benjamin Mzondu and the Honorable Bob Tyough of the Kwande / Ushongo federal constituency for their victories in the Court of Appeals.

The Governor said the judiciary has shown that it is the pillar of democracy.

In a statement signed by his media assistant, Tever Akase quoted the Governor as saying “the victories of the Court of Appeals of Senator Gabriel Suswam, the member representing the federal constituency Makurdi / Guma, the Honorable Benjamin Mzondu, as well as the Honorable Bob Tyough of the Federal constituency of Kwande / Ushongo, confirm the elections that the people of Benue made in the 2019 elections. ”

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The Governor declared that “the judiciary has demonstrated once again that it is a pillar of democracy where the decision of most people prevails.”

Ortom expressed “confidence in the capacity of Senator Suswam, Hon. Mzondu and Hon. It is difficult to provide quality representation in the National Assembly.”

Governor Ortom reiterated his administration’s commitment to work with members of the state’s National Assembly to attract more significant development for the people.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The Governor had previously congratulated Senator Abba Moro for his victory in the Court of Appeals. He said it was a statement of the mandate that the people of Zone C popularly gave Senator Moro in the last elections.
