Femi Fani-Kayode, former aviation minister, has reacted to the alleged attack on IPOB members in Ebonyi state.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, in a publication on Sunday night, said that some security agents invaded the IPOB meeting place and opened fire on them.
The IPOB leader added that some members were seriously injured and in critical condition after the incident. Speaking about the development, Fani-Kayode condemned the alleged attack.
He described the torture and murder of members of IPOB as evil and barbaric. The former minister on his Twitter page wrote: “The atrocities committed against members of IPOB in Ebonyi state earlier this week by members of the Nigerian security forces are unacceptable.
“Killing and brutalizing innocent, unarmed, and defenseless people, including women and children, is despicable, evil, and barbaric.”
