President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday affirmed the arrangement of Dr. Gambo Gumel Aliyu as the Director-General of the National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA).
GISTOK reports that the arrangement of the new DG of NACA will keep going for an underlying term of four (4) years.
Dr. Gambo Gumel Aliyu’s arrangement was owned known in an expression by the Permanent Secretary General Services Office (OSGF), Olusegun Adekunle.
As indicated by Adekunle, the arrangement was by the provision of Section 8, Sub-Section (4) of the National Agency for the Control of Aids (Establishment) Act, 2007.
The new NACA DG’s arrangement produces results from 26th June 2019.
Dr. Aliyu is a Public Health Physician with a foundation in HIV Epidemiology and Disease Prevention.
He was the Country Director, the University of Maryland Programs in Nigeria before his arrangement by President Buhari.
