President Muhammadu Buhari condemned the alleged execution of four humanitarian workers by terrorists in northeastern Nigeria.
Nigeria newspaper report that He said that the defeat of evil for good is inevitable, no matter the pyrrhic victory that evildoers seem to win.
The President revealed this in a statement by Mr. Femi Adeshina, Special Advisor on Media and Advertising for the President, in Abuja on Saturday.
He expressed sadness for development and took pity on the family and loved ones of humanitarian workers.
The humanitarian workers had been kidnapped near Damasak, Borno state, in July, and the insurgents had held them despite efforts to ensure their release.
“Evil will always be defeated for good at the end of the day. Whatever victory it seems that evil records, it eventually bounces off the evildoer.
“We are determined to defeat evil on this earth, and we remain relentless until we achieve it,” said the president.
He urged all insurgents to leave their weapons and join decent humanity.
