Champions League: What Pochettino did to Tottenham players after 7-2 defeat to Bayern

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino called his players to a crisis meeting, after the humiliation of the Champions League on Wednesday, reports the UK Mirror.

Pochettino was determined to get to the bottom of the reasons, behind his 7-2 loss to Bayern Munich.

He delayed the investigation for 24 hours, instead of sleeping with his players in the dressing room and spoke to them when they entered for a warm-up on the training ground.

The Spurs now face an uphill fight to reach the Champions League knockout stage after the shameful defeat.

However, Tottenham legend Chris Waddle has questioned Pochettino and said the Spurs boss is not playing with the strengths of his team.

Waddle said: “I am a big fan of Pochettino and I have been a fan of what he has done so far, but now is the time when we have to look at his tactics and ask him and ask what he is doing.”

“Tottenham did not press the ball, and Bayern Munich ran after them. You can’t play that style against a team like Bayern Munich. “
