Paulo Dybala’s agent, Jorge Antun, talked about why the player did not sign in any Premier League clubs this summer.
Speaking to Tuttosport, he criticized claims that Dybala’s demands were the reason they moved to Manchester United and Tottenham fell apart.
The Juventus forward was the object of interest of both clubs, but could not seal a transfer before the transfer window in English was closed.
There were rumors that Dybala reportedly wanted an exorbitant salary in addition to 15 million euros (13.7 million pounds) in commission.
But Antun has now declared that those claims were pure fabrication. He said: “I spoke with the English club, but the stories about the commission were not true. There were simply problems between the two clubs.”
