Eid-el-Kabir: PDP sends message to Nigerians
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) urged Nigerians to use this year’s Eid-el-Kabir to absorb the life of total trust in the Almighty God in all spheres of life.
The party called in a statement issued by its National Advertising Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, on Saturday.
Ologbondiyan said that Eid-el-Kabir offered man great lessons about selflessness and absolute trust in God, as exemplified in the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He asked all compatriots to take the opportunity to pray for the nation, communicate and share with the less privileged, the private, and the victims of growing insecurity in various parts of the country.

“The PDP urges prayers and support for our brave troops who are making sacrifices and risking their lives daily to protect our nation.
“Nigerians must always remember the sacrifices of our fallen heroes as they approach their families in this difficult time.
“The party also accuses leaders of all walks of life, including public office holders, religious and community leaders, industry captains, and workers’ employers for considering that God gives them their positions for the service to humanity, and for which they must provide an account.”
He also prayed for the unity, peace, stability, and development of the nation, while wishing the Nigerians, in particular, the Muslim community, a happy celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
