Enugu group demands equity, quality representation



An Enugu West group, ‘ISE N’IME OTU -ENUGU WEST RENAISSANCE MOVEMENT,’ has advocated for greater inclusion of all young people in governance issues.

The communiqué made available daily was signed by Comrade Eneiga FPI, Okoro Emmanuel, Ifesinachi Onuaguluchi, Udeoko Tony, and Mgbadike Gab Ozokoli.

It reads in part, “in an attempt to foster all-inclusive, people-oriented, cohesive, responsive and effective political leadership in our Senate Zone: ‘THE MOVEMENT OF WESTERN REBIRTH ISE N’IME OTU -ENUGU’ has declared its commitment to unite the youth and people of this vast area, for a more robust, responsible, accessible and progressive representation.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The group after its meeting with its various community leaders and interest groups in the area, in Enugu, decided to align fully with the development policies, programs, and security plans of the Enugu state government.

“We also call for adequate representation and inclusion of qualified youth in the area in all strata of the government.

“The group is unhappy about the lack of capacity of some elected politicians in the area. The Movement emphasized that politics remains a vehicle for the provision of diligent and selfless services to the people, so we insist that there should be a connection between the elected and the led since governance and legislation should not be isolated Every person in the area deserves to be heard, voted and voted.

“We also ask the people of the area to continue supporting the state government, from His Excellency Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for peace, security, and state development.”
