Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that Jesse Lingard is still in his plans after his 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
Solskjaer took Lingard in 56 minutes and replaced him with Mason Greenwood. Lingard has started in all three United Premier League games so far but has struggled to have an impact.
But Solskjaer insists that the 26-year-old remains a vital part of his plans. When asked if he had a problem with Lingard after the loss to Palace, Solskjaer replied: “No, we stand together.
“Jesse has not scored any goals in our last three games, no. “But it has been a large part of our team and will continue to be an important part.” “The energy he gives us is alive. “But we felt that Mason had to come and create something and we will see Mason more often.”
