Jesse Lingard returned early to Manchester United, after missing the England 2020 Euroclass qualifier against Bulgaria on Saturday.
Latest sport news report thatThe 26-year-old was unable to train this week due to illness and was not named on the Gareth Southgate team for the game at Wembley. Southgate told ITV: “We decided to send it home today. “He hasn’t been able to train the last few days, and we don’t think he’s ready for Tuesday.”
Lingard will now miss England’s clash with Kosovo. The midfielder will now try to be fit for the next United Premier League game against Leicester City in Old Trafford on Saturday.
