A leader of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the kidnapping of John Egla, a pastor of the Church of Redeemed Christian God, RCCG.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The Nasarawa State Police command confirmed the kidnapping of Egla, who is reported to be an RCCG pastor in Lafia on Wednesday.
The incident is the last of the wave of kidnappings in Nigeria in recent times, despite efforts by the Federal Government to address the problem.
Latest Nigeria newspaper report that Fani-Kayode asked the Federal Government to do everything possible to guarantee the pastor’s freedom.

In a tweet in reaction to the development, the former Minister of Aviation said: “A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has been kidnapped by armed men in Lafia, Nassarawa state.
“He was kidnapped at his residence in the Shabu community, on the outskirts of the state. “I ask the FG to do everything possible to rescue him as soon as possible.
