Google celebrates Nigeria

The world’s largest search engine, Google celebrates Nigeria on its website with a special doodle while the country marks its 59 years of independence.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The doodle features the green-white-green Nigerian flag, with an image of Aso Rock in the background. A click on the scribble opens another page showing essential facts about Nigeria and its history.

Google doodle is used to mark special occasions and people around the world. It has been used to celebrate many historical figures and events around the world.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that during the year, Google has celebrated some Nigerians with a scribble. They include Buchi Emecheta, Sam Okwaraji, and Christy Essien Igbokwe.

It is expected that, like last year, Google will celebrate Stella Adadevoh, the late Nigerian doctor who reduced the spread of Ebola on October 27.
