I have no account, property outside Nigeria, says Jonathan

Previous President Goodluck Jonathan has responded to the report that guaranteed that legal advisors for the Federal Government had, in a London court documenting, blamed him for taking kickbacks all together “to expedite a $1.3 billion oil bargain eight years back.”

While rejecting the report as a reused misrepresentation that is unmitigatedly unscrupulous, modest, and unsurprising, he likewise said he had never opened a record outside Nigeria. He additionally asserted that he doesn’t possess any property outside the nation.

He expressed this in an announcement issued by his media consultant, Mr. Ikechukwu Eze, on Saturday.

The previous President was responding to the supposed filling of a case by the Federal Government in London on the dubious Malibu oil bargain.

He said there was just the same old thing new to what he depicted as manufactured remuneration guarantee which he said he had exposed before.

He stated, “Previous President Goodluck Jonathan did not request or gather any rewards, neither has he been charged for asking or gathering influences, neither will he ever be accused of seeking or collecting fixes because such never occurred.

“That this specific contest originated before the Jonathan organization and endured it. That previous President Jonathan is 61 years of age and for a mind-blowing duration has never opened a record, nor claimed property outside Nigeria.”

He tested those behind “this most recent promulgation” to make affidavit (in court) on it.

Eze said the reality remained that as late national occasions kept on vindicating Jonathan, and the world kept on commending him, those he said who was shaky would nourish such purposeful publicity to their media specialists to sustain their feeling of inadequacy.

He included, “indeed, we expected something like this as far back as it was declared that previous President Jonathan would lead the Election Observation Mission of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa to South Africa’s national and commonplace races.

“We are very much aware that this case was intentioned to overshadow the generosity and positive reports of previous President Jonathan’s tenacious commitment in South Africa’s political and temporary decisions.

“The way that most real media houses in the nation wouldn’t republish this misrepresentation substantiates our conviction that Nigerians can never again be deceived by clear and diversionary cases of contamination, notwithstanding compounding situation in the government.

“We have clarified continuously that past this flood of guess, previous President Jonathan was not connected, arraigned or accused of gathering any monies as kickbacks or rewards from ENI by the Italian specialists or some other law authorization body the world over.

“It bears rehashing that the archives identifying with the exchanges and choices of the Federal Government on the Malabo issue, amid the Jonathan organization, are in the critical Government workplaces, where they are open.
