Lawyer lands in trouble for allegedly calling magistrate, police prosecutor ‘criminals’

A legal advisor, Ifeanyichukwu Igwe was on Monday docked under the watchful eye of a Magistrates’ Court in Minna, the Niger State capital for supposedly calling a justice and a police examiner hoodlums.

Igwe was docked on a three check of criminal terrorizing, declining to answer local official approved to address him, and deliberate affront with a purpose to incite rupture of harmony.

The Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Emmanuel Ogiri, had told the court that the issue alluded from the Commissioner of Police for examination on January 14, 2019.

Ogiri said that one Inspector John Edache claimed that the charged individual, who works with Ascended Law Chamber, Minna compromised his life and that of his family through an instant message at about 5:30 pm on December 25, 2018.

He noticed that the Police welcomed the denounced individual, yet unmitigatedly would not respect the welcome.
