Reno Omokri, the previous Special Assistant on New Media to recent President, Goodluck Jonathan has handled former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, over his (Fayose) assault on past President, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s choice to rename the Abuja National Stadium after Moshood Abiola, the pronounced champ of June 12, 1993, presidential race, Fayose had condemned Obasanjo. The previous Governor, in his response on Thursday, had tweeted, “Regarding MKO Abiola by @MBuhari is to Obasanjo’s disgrace.

“It remains a sore-purpose of his political history that as a result of the inner self, Obasanjo, who’s the best recipient of the June 12, 1993 battle neglected to respect his brother, MKO Abiola. Along these lines, I praise President Buhari.” Responding to Fayose’s assault, Omokri tweeted, “I can’t help contradicting @GovAyoFayose that @MBuhari regarding Abiola is to Obasanjo’s disgrace.

“Who constructed the arena Buhari named after MKO? Is it not Obasanjo? Abiola’s motto was ‘goodbye to neediness.’ “Among Obasanjo and Buhari, who say goodbye to poverty? ObJ.”
