PDP Speak out over INEC, Rivers election tribunal – Wike
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asserted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was taking part in connivance against it at the race court.
The African Action Congress (AAC) applicant is testing the triumph of Governor Nyesom Wike at the surveys. As per the PDP, the Commission was yet to dole out the safeguard of Rivers State governorship race to any of its advice.
Director, Rivers PDP, Elder Felix Obua, said INEC intentionally would not dole out the case to any legal counselor, realizing that entering of resistance was time banned.
“The plot isn’t to enter a guard until the termination of the required time so the court would have a decent reason to drop the governorship decision,” Sun cited him as saying.
“We are telling the entire world that INEC has not doled out the guard of the outcome to any legal advisor at this very moment,” he said.
Responding, INEC National Commissioner of Information, Festus Okoye, said the Commission would this week declare whether the body had been authoritatively served, as to give an update on outside or inward specialists to speak to it at the court.
