PHOTOS: EFCC arrests 22 ‘Yahoo Yahoo boys’ and seizes exotic cars
Agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Advance Fee Fraud Section, Abuja Headquarters in a joint effort with men from the Benin Zonal Office in a task on Friday captured 22 speculated web fraudsters at Sapele, Delta State.
An announcement by EFCC representative, Tony Orilade, said chipping away at insight reports, the suspects, who are between the ages of 18 to 30 years, were smoked out from their refuges in an early morning task.
“Multi-day sooner, the agents from Abuja had captured two presumed web fraudster in Ughelli, Delta State,” it read.
“Things recouped from the suspects incorporate PCs, telephones, ATM cards and three colorful vehicles. The autos are Benz C350, Benz ML 350 and Chrysler 300.
“The attack on the web fraudsters is one in the arrangement by agents of the Commission following the mandate of the acting Executive Chairman of the Commission, Ibrahim Magu to free the whole nation of web misrepresentation and cybercrime.”
