Police confirm killing of Igbinedion varsity lecturer in Edo
The Edo Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed DanMallam, on Sunday, affirmed the killing of an instructor with the Igbinedion University, Okada, close Benin, by speculated hijackers.
DanMallam said the teacher, Kelvin Izebeokhai, was executed in an endeavored break offer when the exploited people were being walked into the timberland by the ruffians.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) assembled that the shooters were said to work close Okada intersection along the Benin-Lagos roadway.
It was found out that the shooters stole Izebeokhai and different travelers in the transport they were going in.
The driver of the smaller than usual transport was said to have raced into the hedge alongside four different travelers.

“Sadly, one of the travelers who endeavored to avoid amid the kidnapping was executed by the shooters.
“The police pursued the ruffians in the shrubbery and prevailing with regards to saving the people in question.”
He said the police were taking a shot at another methodology which involves taking the war to the hijackers’ sanctum in the wilderness, including that it is the ideal approach to handle the scourge.
A representative for the college, Mr. Jide Ilugbo, who affirmed the murdering, depicted it as “barbaric.”
Ilugbo said late Izebeokhai was a First Class graduate and was utilized in the college in 2016.

He said it was currently hazardous to go on the Benin-Lagos expressway because of regular assaults by furnished burglars and criminals.
The authority said it was shocking he kept running into punks, saying that the trailer stopped before Okada Junction is a refuge for offenders.
