The assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media issues, Lauretta Onochie, praised the arrest of the presidential candidate of the AAC, Omoyele Sowore, by agents of the Department of State Services, DSS.
Gistok had reported that Sowore, the #RevolutionNow Protests convener, was picked up at his apartment in the early hours of Saturday.
The politician posted a distress tweet at precisely 1:25 a.m., which says: “DSS invades Sowore.” Later, he added another tweet that could be a confirmation that his phone must have been seized while trying to give the alarm about his arrest.
Reacting, Onochie said on his Twitter page, DSS saved Sowore from harming himself during his protest.
