President Buhari reacts to Prof. Adeniyi’s death



President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the death of the former vice chancellor of the University of Ilorin, professor emeritus Adeoye Adeniyi.

In a copy of the message of condolence that his Special Adviser, Femi Adesina, made available on Wednesday by the Nigeria newspaper  on Wednesday, Buhari assured the Adeniyi family that their contributions to national development, especially to the education sector, will always be remembered.

Adesina said: “The president feels sorry for the Governing Board of the University of Ilorin, staff and students for the death of the 4th vice chancellor of the university, who served for seven years, leaving a strong legacy of academic excellence.”

He added that “as a recognized Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health, President Buhari states that the election of the late Vice Chancellor to teach, research and provide child care services was very remarkable, reflecting his love for humanity and guaranteeing a healthy society. “.

He said that “the president prays for God to grant the soul the eternal rest of Adeniyi.”
