Paul Ibe, a prominent media and publicity advisor to the presidential candidate of the Popular Democratic Party, PDP, reacted when President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressive Congress, APC closed his defense in the Petition Court of Presidential Elections.

GISTOK reported Thursday that Buhari and APC had closed their defense before the Court.

Buhari’s lead attorney, Wole Olanipekun (SAN) and APC lead attorney, Lateef Fagbemi announced that the second and third respondents were closing their defense in the case.

Buhari was expected to produce more witnesses today, but his lawyer told the court that, after reviewing his case and the evidence carried out so far, they were satisfied that they had done enough to get the victory.

When reacting to the development, I felt that the question about Buhari’s WAEC certificate was not answered.

He tweeted: “Buhari overcomes a withdrawal, quickly closes his case in the Presidential Election Petition Court. The APC just as the INEC does not call any witness closes its evidence. “It’s a new month, but the question of a lifetime is still #WhereIsBuharisCertificate?”
