Governor Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq of Kwara State congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in the Presidential Election Petition Court.
Naija news reported that the judge, Mohammed Garba, ordered by the Court dismissed the request of Atiku and PDP in its entirety.
The governor rejoiced with the president in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Rafiu Ajakaye, on Thursday in Ilorin.
According to him, the trial is a victory for ordinary Nigerians, who were in the ranks for many hours to vote during the elections.

He said he was not surprised by the result of the court’s verdict in view of the unprecedented support the president registered in Kwara, and the obvious acceptability of his candidacy across the country, reports NAN.
“I always knew that any legal challenge to his victory is just an academic exercise because people have spoken clearly,” AbdulRazaq said.
According to the governor, the opposition had the right to seek legal redress on the outcome of the 2019 presidential elections in the country.
“The ruling only confirmed the position of the people of Nigeria, which appreciates the discipline, integrity, patriotism and commitment of the president to a better Nigeria,” the governor added.
AbdulRazaq also praised the erudition of the president’s legal team, who said he remained focused “even in the face of daily opposition propaganda.”
Therefore, he asked Nigerians through party lines to join the president to allow him to generate more dividends from democracy.
