The Nigerian army has said it is not selling application forms to enroll in the Direct Short Service (DSS) course.
The army also said there was no restricted list for DSS course 25 circulating on social networks, reports NAN. The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa, revealed this in a statement Friday in Abuja.
He clarified that the army authorities had not announced any recruitment exercise for their DSS course at this time and warned the public to ignore the “misleading information and false announcement” in the public space.
According to him, the application forms to join the army are not for sale, as the Nigerian military does not sell application forms to potential candidates.
“The news that the shortlist of Course 25 of the Army Direct Service (DSS) currently circulating on social networks is false.
“However, the Nigerian army will soon officially announce the restricted list of SSC and DSSC after due diligence,” Musa said.
