Supreme Court Ruling: Why PDP, Atiku must sheath their sword – BSO

The Buhari Support Organization, Enugu State, has asked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate during the last presidential elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to sheathe their swords and support President Muhammadu Buhari for the general interest of the country.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The BSO said this was necessary to keep the infrastructure underway and the agricultural revolution in the country.

This occurred when the group congratulated President Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the reaffirmation of his victory in the 2019 presidential elections by the Supreme Court.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued Friday by the BSO secretariat in Enugu. On Wednesday, the trial court rejected the request of the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for lack of merit.

In reaction to the statement signed by the President of the State, Anike Nwoga, and the Secretary, Godwin Onwusi, Enugu BSO said the ruling had shown that Buhari secured an impeccable victory in the presidential polls.

BSO said that now the Supreme Court had ruled on the matter, the President will not face more distractions and will focus his attention on his efforts to take Nigeria to the next level.

Latest Nigeria newspaper report that He noted that no president in the history of Nigeria had exhibited the kind of transparency shown by Buhari, which is why Nigeria has regained the confidence of the international community.

The statement said: “When Buhari took office, he saw that many states owed workers and released rescue funds and reimbursements from the Paris Club to allow them to pay the workers.

“Before, the minimum wage for the Nigerian worker was N18000 and increased to N30,000. Many unemployed Nigerians have benefited from NPOWER and other packages in the Social Investment Program. Nigeria’s position has improved in the ease of doing business rankings. ”

“Serious efforts are being made to address insecurity in the country. No Nigerian territory is under the control of Boko Haram now. The armed forces and other security agencies are making bandits and other criminals angry. EFCC is fighting cybercriminals who are giving Nigeria a negative image abroad. We trust that by the time Buhari leaves office, Nigeria must have completely relocated to the path of sustainable development,” said BSO.
