Ajax agreed to a transfer fee with Juventus for the sale of Matthijs de Ligt, reports the UK Mirror. De Ligt has been linked to several of the best clubs, including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Liverpool this summer.
But the Serie A champion apparently won the race for his signature. It is understood that De Ligt had agreed to a contract with Juve, which would earn him 10.8 million pounds per season.
The amount equals around £ 230,000 per week and is almost double what Paulo Dybala currently earns in Turin.
The only thing that delayed the transfer was that the two clubs agreed to a fee, which led De Ligt’s agent, Mino Raiola, to call Ajax to make the agreement.
