Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo was upset after his proposal to move to Everton failed, SportsMail reports. The Argentine star has only made 18 appearances in the last two seasons and had been persuaded to leave Old Trafford.
A loan was established, but United changed the parameters on Thursday morning and the deal collapsed. Everton had discharged defender Matty Pennington to Hull on loan and let Mo Besic join Sheffield United for the season, hoping to land Red.
However, the Toffees exceeded the deadline, to complete a dramatic late descent to sign Alex Iwobi of Arsenal for £ 40 million. Everton had failed with an offer of £ 30 million to attack midfielder Iwobi on Wednesday.
