Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is moving to take over Chelsea for the third time, according to SunSport.
Mourinho, a former Chelsea coach on two occasions, has also been linked to a move to Newcastle. The 56-year-old won three Premier League titles, three League Cups and the FA Cup for two periods and five years at the West London club. Chelsea is accelerating the search for a manager, Maurizio Sarri’s successor at Stamford Bridge.
GISTOK reported that the winners of the UEFA Europa League have already agreed to release Sarri from his contract so that he can take over the Juventus position.
Speaking about his return to the administration, Mourinho told BeIN SPORTS in March: “What I have in mind is that I would like to return in the summer, in June, for a new club, for a new preseason.
“I know exactly what I do not want. “That’s why I already had to say three or four different offers.” I had to say no. “And I know what I want, in terms not of a specific club but the nature of the work, the size of the work, I know what I want.”
