Real Madrid hopes to sign Neymar Jr, after offering Paris Saint-Germain £ 110 million-plus Luka Modric, according to Sport.
Barcelona is interested in giving up Neymar, but Real are eager to bring him as a late replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who went to Juventus last year. Real is looking to get Neymar’s signature before the Spanish transfer window closes on September 2.
Modric won the Golden Ball last year and has helped Real win the Champions League four times, but he could leave as part of the deal. Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 for £ 198 million, which remains a world record transfer fee.
The Brazilian striker has an impressive record of goals for the PSG, having scored 51 times in 58 games, in addition to providing 29 assists. He also won the Ligue 1 title in his two seasons at the club.
