President Muhammadu Buhari has lauded the ethics of Nigeria’s previous Information Minister, Chief Edwin Clark, on the event of his 84th birthday celebration commemoration.

In his tribute to Chief Clark, who filled in as Information Minister amid the routine of General Yakubu Gowon, President Buhari noticed that “regardless of whether you don’t concur with the senior statesman in some cases, you should recognize his enthusiasm and pledge to harmony.” This was made known to GISTOK by Garba Shehu, the President’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity.

As per Buhari, “harmony building is one of the best commitments we ought to expect of our seniors, and I am pleased that Chief Edwin Clark has assumed this job astoundingly amid attempting times in our nation.”

The President depicted the octogenarian as a man of substantial feelings who doesn’t falter to talk his brain on national issues, included “this man of honor communicates his psyche without vindictiveness, one of the exceptional ethics of a statesman that he is.”

“While congratulating with you on this euphoric event, acknowledge my all the best and most profound altruism of my administration. You have served your nation with unique excellence and untainted record.

“You ought to be glad for this heritage. The nation would dependably admire you for tapping from your wellspring of astuteness,” the President said
