The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it just Mr. Omoyele Sowore as the substantive National Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC).

GISTOK.COM reviews that AAC days before suspended Omoyele Sowore, executive of the gathering.

Ezenwa was before in the day reported as the new national executive after the gathering said it had suspended Sowore for supposed debasement.

In any case, INEC responding in an announcement marked by Rose Oriaran-Anthony, secretary to the commission on Friday said the constituent body perceives Sowore as Chairman.

The announcement peruses: “The commission in the wake of looking into the substance of the letter has built up the accompanying.

“There is no narrative proof that a gathering of the AAC National Executive Committee (NEC) was met by the National Chairman as required by Chapter 9 Section 59(a) of the Constitution of AAC.

“The gathering did not give a 21-day notice of the NEC meeting as required by Section85(1) of the Electoral Act 2010 (as corrected).

“There are no minutes or proof of participation of the AAC National Executive Committee meeting where the National Chairman and eight (8) others were purportedly suspended.

“Appropriately, the Commission will proceed to perceive and relate with Mr. Sowore Omoyele as the substantive national Chairman of the African Action Congress.”
