Abike Erewa reveal the reason why should NASS should approve the diaspora voting

Presidential assistant, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on Sunday advised Nigerians in the Diaspora to win on the National Assembly to favor voting in favor of Nigerians in the Diaspora.

Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, decided at a Diaspora Leadership Conference, composed by the Nigerian Consulate in New York, U.S.

The SSA, whose affirmation as the seat of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission is pending in the Senate, said that Diaspora casting a ballot was something the commission would seek after determinedly when operational.

She said that while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had demonstrated its preparation for Diaspora casting a ballot, the legislators were awkward with the thought for no good reason to her, NAN reports.

Calling attention to that the framework was essential to the improvement of the country’s governmental issues and constituent procedure, the SSA begged Nigerians abroad, to unite to get it going.
