Nigeria loses another NAF pilot, Air Commodore Udenyi

Scarcely two years after a Pilot Instructor with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Group Captain Adanu Gabriel Ochayi was covered, another best Pilot with the Nigerian military, Air Commodore Emmanuel Udenyi is dead.

Late Ochayi, a local of Idoma in Benue state, had passed on in an air bug in Kaduna, August 2017, while hanging tight for his Air Commodore advancement.

Since his internment September 6, 2017, neither the NAF nor the military specialist could come clear on the unknown reason for his demise.

In a similar vein, the NAF has not issued official explanation on the genuine reason for the death of the Idoma-conceived Air Commodore Udenyi, who is said to anticipate his Air Vice Marshall advancement, any minute from now.

“Air Commodore Udenyi passed on in Lagos yesterday, May 4, 2019, yet the reason for death is yet obscure, there was no plane accident nor was he sick”, a source near the family implied our correspondent.

Air Commodore Udenyi, until his passing, was the Commander of 301 Heavy Airlift Group, Logistics Command, Ikeja Lagos.

He was the primary Pilot of NAF C-130, the most magnificent freight airship in Nigeria’s military stock of plane.

Udenyi was elevated to the position of Air Commodore in 2015, close by other fine officers.
